The World Children’s Day was celebrated on November 20th every year. In 2021, the Theme is “A Better Future for Every Child”. Therefore, COERR Mae Hong Son organized activities in coordination with organizations serving children and youth, as well as community schools and parents.

   COERR normally conducted home visits to encourage parents to take care of their children and promote family bondage. More activities and training would be conducted to help children who had family problems and those who are not interested in studies.

   World Children's Day event was organized for children’s knowledge and fun on 19 and 20 November 2021. There were essay writing and drawing competitions as well as sports competition such as volleyball, caneball, football and other social games at Ban Mai Nai Soi temporary shelter; while at Ban Mae Surin temporary shelter held competitions like painting, essay and other social games.

   Many children reflected that they enjoyed competitions and were specially thankful for this World Children’s Day event and all activities, in which 315 children of 167 males and 148 females participated.

   To have a better future for every child, in accordance with the World Children Day’s theme of the year 2021, Child Protection Training was organized twice; on November 22nd, for parents and on November 29th, for community leaders.
